The business
Innovate Access Group supplies and installs the items that make a building's path of travel meet the standard: access ramps, tactile ground surface indicators, stair nosings, handrails and thresholds. The work is scoped from an audit, a defects list or a drawing, priced item by item, installed by qualified tradespeople to the relevant Australian Standard subject to site conditions and certification, and documented for the surveyor and the asset register.
The business comes out of commercial installation: architectural fitout, light gauge steel and access compliance. That background is why the work is run as a subcontract package, documented for the surveyor's file.
How it operates
- One point of contact from enquiry to handover.
- Every item photographed and documented.
- Prices held to the quotation. Where a site constraint changes the scope, it is raised before the work, not on the invoice.
- Certification and sign-off remain with the building surveyor or access consultant. The business installs to the standard and says so in writing; it does not claim to certify.
- Trade contractor, not a registered building practitioner. Work is carried out under the client's head contract or as a direct engagement within that scope.
